At Regular Cat Records, we strive to continue evolving our styles and sounds. THEILLESTMUSIC presents to you a new beat tape by Jay Illestrate titled #SpecialDelivery. This album was made mostly from the beginner stages of an MPD26 recently acquired by Jay Illestrate. #SpecialDelivery merges Jay Illestrate’s bread-and-butter FL Studio style with an experimental MPD style.

Happy 4th of July, everyone! THEILLESTMUSIC and XCELLMUSIC bring to you X*Cell‘s newest project, Amerika Akbar. X*Cell takes us into his own lyrical ghetto, touching on topics that any American can relate to, such as hitting the mall, going to the movies, enjoying the weekend, and eating friend chicken.
RLC tha ROD and Jungle help out lyrically, and the soundscape is provided by 4D tha OG and features production by Jay Illestrate, Kajmir Royale, Young Gem, Fabes, and Greg Night.
AiS is at it again with a funky batch of instrumentals for you ears. THEILLESTMUSIC and Liquor4Lyrics is proud to present his newest instrumental tape Places That Aren’t Reality.
This tape is presented in a similar fashion to A Mixed Drink, Vol.1; instrumental tracks that mostly clock in under 3 minutes.
Back in January of ’11, Makeda blessed us with the sonic sounds on You May Enter. Today THEILLESTMUSIC is proud to present Makeda’s second tape of this year titled You Big Dummy.
For those who haven’t heard Makeda, she has a knack for picking unique yet effective beats to compliment her commanding voice. For those who are familiar with Makeda, You Big Dummy is more of the same, though there is noticeable elevation in her execution.
Back in the Spring of 2010, Wr. D!ce and Jay Illestrate set a goal to release an album that would quench both of their aspirations to push the musical boundary of hip hop music. A year later, Regular Cat Records and THEILLESTMUSIC are excited and proud to present Flight To The 4th Dimension.
This album is primarily Wr. D!ce on the rhymes and Jay Illestrate on the beats, though Regular Cat’s Jopedo produces one track for the album. Flight also features rhymes from some of NC’s finest up and coming emcees such as Kaddie Lak, Sgt. Jr, and The Fatboy, along with Maryland’s John Lass. Vocalists Deyzho and poet Summer Wind represent NC on this album.

On July 4th, 2011, XCELLMUSIC and THEILLESTMUSIC will present to you X*Cell‘s newest studio mixtape titled Amerika Akbar. After doing work with Creative Business, X*Cell releases his first solo project since his tape titled Mercenary.

On Any Given Sunday is where stars are made. On Any Given Sunday, legacies begin and others end. Flyyers‘ own Uptown EZY brings you his new musical tale, titled Any Given Sunday.
EZY plays the role of Willie Beamen, a talented prospect who patiently awaits his time to shine. Contrary to Regular Cat affiliate and Flyyers representer Rob Lo (who brings guests vocals to the project), EZY has a witty flow that tends to suck the listener in with clever wordplay and adlibs. Production on this album is handled by Rob Lo, Vince Chase and E-Money amongst others.
If you’re a fan of Rob Lo’s work with Jay Illestrate, this album is definitely worth checking out.
We’ve got some more smoked out tunes to bring you. John Lass, a Maryland emcee establishing his name and his style, recently released a tape titled THC: The Hippie Chronicles.
Ths tape was primarily produced by John Lass and James Blow. Regular Cat’s Wr. D!ce is featured for some of the vocals.

This album is especially unique because Jay Illestrate leads the album with the vocals and produced half of the tracks. In a sequel to the Art of Facts series, The Shogun Flow is another chamber that teaches discipline, respect for the game, and unparalleled motivation.
